Sushi Katsu(Best Price on Website!)

I love this restaurant since they were in North Vancouver. Now in West Vancouver is more convenient for us, we usually go together as a family. Let me recommend the dishes that we have tried: Beef teriyaki bowl ( by far the best that we have tasted in Vancouver), Spicy Don, Aburi sushi, and most of the maki’s sushi. The service is so friendly, the atmosphere is great and the new restaurant building is so fancy. Regarding pricing is fair enough for the quality of the food.

Ordered some take out since you can’t eat indoors at the moment. Haven’t been here before but was very happy with what we ordered. The value for portion size was great. The rolls were on the touch smaller side but for the price I think it was worth it. I might have gone 4.5 stars if allowed since there was a touch too much batter on the tempura but not worth going to 4 stars. Everything tasted delicious and was quite fast for the amount we ordered

Sushi Katsu in West Vancouver is an absolute gem! The dynamite roll is hands down the best I've had in years - the quality is excellent, and the presentation is fantastic. The service is also very attentive, making for a delightful dining experience. I did notice a difference in the sashimi presentation during my visits; on my first visit, it was beautifully arranged in a floral design, which I absolutely loved. On my next visit, it was served in plain pieces, which was a bit of a letdown since the floral presentation really stood out. One area that could use a bit more TLC is the washrooms, as I noticed they were storing cleaning products and had some dust on the surfaces. Despite this, the overall experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend Sushi Katsu for anyone craving delicious sushi!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Japanese restaurant located near Ambleside Beach, and it was an outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in, the staffs were warm and welcoming, creating an inviting atmosphere and vibe that had given a heartwarming start to our dining experience. The menu was diverse and offered a wide array of authentic Japanese dishes. Each dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The sushi was incredibly fresh, with melt-in-your-mouth quality, and the Katsu Don was rich and flavorful, a perfect comfort dish for people that are craving for Japanese Donburi. What truly set Sushi Katsu apart was the impeccable service. The staffs were very attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to offer recommendations. They made sure every aspect of our dining experience was perfect, from start to finish. Dining at this restaurant as a delightful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Ambleside Beach area. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special dining experience, this restaurant offers the best of Japanese cuisine in a stunning location. I can't wait to return to this restaurant the next time we visit Ambleside again!

Beautiful atmosphere!! I feel like I was transported into Japan! The service here is amazing, such caring and patient staff! The food is jaw dropping! The ginger feels so fresh and the miso soup has real high quality seaweed and soft tofu! The green tea is amazing, you can see the tea leaves at the bottom of the cup! Its very high quality here! I tried the Crimson roll and for the first time within years of living in Vancouver I was blown away! The taste is amazing and its displayed in such a gorgeous way. I came here at 5:52 PM and it was empty! This place needs way more attention! Its the best sushi place here, absolutely #1 compared to any other sushi places Ive tried!

Super nice greeting entering here. Theyre very friendly, hospitable and welcoming. The food came very quickly. We had prawn tempura , gyoza, beef Teriyaki bowl, chicken karaage, Tobiko Nigiri and a Special roll I've forgot the name.. Can you please go here to eat as soon as possible and check which one it is? It was the top of the list under "Special Roll" Enjoy!!!

Everything was 5/5, 10/10. My server was very friendly but not overly so, clearly knows her job well and the service was lovely. Very professional and sweet. Food was exceptional too - very fresh tasting and delicious :) will definitely tell friends about this one!
